Inspiration for the creation of Zephyrus sofa
When creating Zephyrus, designers drew inspiration from both nature and architecture. The volume of the seat was inspired by the puffy clouds above the Alps — the same rounded lightness, designed to bring the feeling of free flight into the interior. And the sculptural beech supports were inspired by Mies van der Rohe's early pavilions: extremely clean lines, minimal visual noise, and maximum noble statics.
The language of materials
The base of the sofa is made of selected solid beech wood and is concealed under a thick layer of enamel.
The smooth finish, with no visible wood grain, emphasizes the clean lines, protects the wood from moisture and scratches, and creates a flawless contour that contrasts with the soft, “cloud-like” shape of the seat.

Zephyrus sofas are handmade using Italian technology at FiftyFourms' own production facility in St. Petersburg. As a result, the Zephyrus sofa has become the pride of our sofa line, shaping the space and atmosphere around it.
