Warranty and service / Claim procedure
Guarantee
The warranty period for FiftyFourms furniture is 12 (twelve) months, unless otherwise specified in the Specification, and is calculated from the date of transfer to the Buyer.
We are liable for warranty obligations provided that the Customer complies with the ‘Rules for the use of furniture and other products’.
Warranty service may be provided provided that there are no outstanding payments under the Contract.
Features of handcrafted products and natural materials (colour tone/pattern/texture) as well as technological ‘ageing’ effects are permitted — such differences are not considered defects if the product complies with the agreed characteristics.
Procedure for filing claims (complaints)
The claim must be made in accordance with the warranty service rules.
How to file a claim:
1. Download and fill out the claim form: Download form.
2. Provide your current contact details (e-mail and telephone number).
3. Record the place, date and circumstances of the discovery of the defect/non-conformity.
4. Send the completed form to e-mail: sales@fiftyfourms.com.
5. Attach photos and, if necessary, videos confirming the non-compliance (sufficient quality/resolution). In most cases, the availability of media materials speeds up the review process.
The review period begins from the moment the Seller receives the application and is calculated in working days.
Quality control / expertise
If necessary, the Parties shall draw up a complaint report and/or conduct a quality inspection/expert examination under the terms and conditions provided for in the Agreement and by law, including the procedure for notifying the date and place of the examination and the distribution of costs.
Returns and order cancellations
Individual order
All products are manufactured to individual order based on the agreed Specification (dimensions, finish, configuration and other individually defined properties).
After signing the Specification and starting the purchase/production process, the Buyer is generally not entitled to refuse such goods, except in cases expressly provided for by law and the terms of the Contract.
Withdrawal from the contract prior to commencement of manufacture
The Buyer shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract prior to commencement of manufacture by sending a written notice to the Seller.
Cancellation after production has commenced
After production of the furniture has commenced (including preparation of individual materials/specifications), the Buyer undertakes to reimburse the Seller for the actual costs incurred. The balance of the amount paid shall be refunded within the time limits and in accordance with the procedure provided for in the Contract.
Requirements for Products subject to return/transfer for repair/quality inspection
If the Product or its parts need to be removed for repair or quality inspection, the Buyer shall:
- ensure unhindered access to the Product for company employees at a pre-agreed time;
- ensure the safety of the components received upon delivery;
- ensure that there are no damages/defects not specified in the claim;
- ensure that there are no traces of unauthorised interference or independent design changes.
Refunds
The timing of refunds depends on the reason (refusal/return/cancellation) and is determined by law and the Agreement. When returning goods (when a return is applicable), refunds are usually made within 3 (three) business days from the date of receipt of the returned goods at the Seller's warehouse, unless another period is established by law or the Agreement.
