A home is often described as a place of "inner strength" — a space where we restore our energy and spend time with those closest to us. Such a space should inspire and create a refined atmosphere of harmony and comfort. When creating premium furniture at FiftyFourms and integrating it into interiors, we always keep this in mind, striving for a balanced dialogue between functionality and aesthetics.

In this feature, using the interior of a contemporary residence in Midtown Manhattan designed from the ground up by the Studia 54 team, we explore how premium furniture by FiftyFourms helps define both visual and conceptual accents within the space.

    Concept

The client envisioned an interior dedicated to deep relaxation and high-quality rest. As a result, a natural palette — ranging from beige and ash gray to terracotta, warm wood tones, and black — became the foundation of the design. At the same time, the team sought to introduce expressive details that would reflect the client’s impeccable taste and lend the interior a truly distinctive character, while preserving a sense of restraint and overall compositional harmony.

    Elemento Coffee Table

The Elemento coffee table, created by the premium furniture brand FiftyFourms, serves as a visual focal point in the living area. On one hand, it adds contrast to the light-toned composition, preventing the interior elements from blending into one another; on the other, it visually unites other accent details, such as cushions and a secondary side table. The mirrored tabletop reflects light, adding depth to the space and softening the richness of darker shades.

The table’s shape recalls smooth sea pebbles, while the choice of materials — natural leather and tinted glass — enhances this association. The leather is hand-finished by our craftsmen using Italian polishing techniques, preserving its natural sheen and refined texture.

Woodwell Coffee Table and Zephyrus Armchair

The Woodwell coffee table reinforces the natural motifs of the interior. The media wall panels, like the table itself, are crafted from walnut root veneer, and the grain pattern of the body echoes the decorative inserts. This approach brings warmth and vitality to the space, making it feel more organic and lived-in.

The Zephyrus armchair seamlessly continues the seating composition and visually softens the large-scale TV zone. Its sculptural form turns it into a statement piece within the living room: flowing curves draw attention to the upholstery and enhance the sense of comfort.

    Mattina Light Chairs

The dining area is elevated by Mattina Light chairs, which subtly define the boundary between the living room and the kitchen without overloading the interior or disrupting visual balance.

Solid ash wood legs are paired with leather and soft velvet upholstery. The chairs support the overall color palette of the space while offering everyday comfort through a cushioned seat and ergonomically supportive backrest.

    Jellybean Saddle Pouf

Details play a key role in shaping the character of an interior, especially when a compact yet expressive accent is desired. In this space, that role is fulfilled by the Jellybean Saddle pouf — lightweight, mobile, and designed to soften the overall composition.

With premium furniture by FiftyFourms, you can place thoughtful accents that adapt your interior to different lifestyles and everyday scenarios. We create our furniture by hand at our own manufactory in Saint Petersburg, combining Italian technologies with unique, patented design solutions.
